February 16 – March 27
Easy German Book Club
Join our Intermediate Book Club and improve your German by reading a book designed for B2 learners. Over four weeks, you’ll complete chapter-based exercises, discuss each chapter on Discord, and take part in live Zoom sessions with us — occasionally even with the book’s author.
Level: Intermediate (B2 and higher)
A Note for Beginners: We’re reading an intermediate-level book this time, but you might still enjoy joining! If you’re looking something easier to read, stay tuned — we are planning a Book Club for beginners this July.
How to Participate
To join the Book Club, simply become an Easy German member. The full program — including chapter discussions, exercises, and Zoom calls — is available to all members starting at the Supporter level.
Signing up takes less than 5 minutes, and you can cancel your membership anytime.

How It Works
Receive the eBook
Once you’ve become a member, you can download the book in EPUB format, free of charge. If you prefer, you can also purchase a physical copy.
Read
We’ll aim to read two chapters (about 20 pages) each week, with vocabulary lists to help. You can always read ahead or catch up at your own pace if needed.
Discuss
Once you’ve finished each chapter, join the conversation on our Discord server. It’s a space to share your thoughts, ask questions, and reflect on your reading experience.
Practice
You’ll receive PDF exercises for each chapter to complete at your own pace, with solutions provided so you can check your work.
Speak
Join our weekly Zoom calls to discuss each chapter and practice speaking German in small groups. In two of the sessions, you’ll even get the chance to meet the author, Angelika Bohn, and ask her questions about the book and her writing process.
The calls take place every Friday at 5 p.m. Berlin time (check your local time here).
